Wireless Phone Jack

Since the phone signal travels through the electric lines in your home or workplace, there are too many limiting factors (circuit breaker, number of items plugged into outlets, etc) to provide a set range. In our tests, we have found the Wireless Phone Jack works very well in most homes.

No. A Surge Protector will block out the EMI emissions the Wireless Phone Jack requires to operate properly.

Please try the following:
Check all connections and confirm that they are tight and secure.
Check that the phone works directly in service outlet (without a DSL filter or Wireless Phone Jack).
Make sure the Wireless Phone Jack is plugged directly into the electrical outlet and not thru a surge protector or other device.
Check electrical outlet for power.
Try new phone line cords.
Move base and/or extension unit to a new, closer location; the Wireless Phone Jack base and extension unit must be plugged into the same circuit in your walls.
Press security code button on both units to lock in a code.
 
Note: Halogen lamps, light dimmers, computer surges and other wireless devices can cause interference.  Move the unit away from these devices or unplug/disable the device that may be the cause of interference.
